Worthing Intergrated Care Centre takes shape

Updated: Jul 11, 2023

The new £30m Worthing Intergrated Care Centre, due to open in 2024, is taking shape and last week, gbp's Gary Naylor, Andrew Hemsley and Hugh Robinson attended a 'bolt tightening' ceremony at the site (pictured below). gbpartnerships is acting as project manager for the 6,000m2 integrated care centre via the West Sussex Estates Partnership LIFTCo, on behalf of client, Worthing Borough Council (Adur & Worthing Councils). Galliford Try are the main contractor and ArchitecturePLB the architects for the project. The project is being built on an underutilised brownfield site (carpark site) in a highly accessible location in the middle of Worthing. When completed, the WICC will provide GP, mental health, community, and dentistry services, as well as further services for families and children including a pharmacy in a single building. An adjacent 6,400m² multi storey car park, providing c.200 car parking spaces, also forms part of the project. Read the full case study below:
