A toy donation following completion of the Child Development Centre (CDC) project at Crawley Hospital is making a positive impact! The local LIFTCo West Sussex Estates Partnership (WSEP) made a donation earlier this year to enable the Hospital to purchase a set of toys for each of the eight clinics at the CDC facility.
They toys were thoughtfully selected to suit the wide age range of visiting children, and have been very well received - the Connect4 game is a particular hit! The new toys not only make visits to the CDC more fun for patients and their families, but also support the clinical team with their observations as needed.
The new CDC is part of NHS Property Services Ltd's Healthy Places Programme and offers modern, welcoming facilities that have improved the health and wellbeing of both visitors and staff.
NHS Property Services appointed WSEP to deliver the CDC project and gbp provided the day-to-day project management services on behalf of WSEP. The WSEP Board is delighted that the toys have been so well received and hope that they provide entertainment for visitors to the CDC for a long time to come!
